I understand what this is trying to do-
*show how attractive/stylishly dressed the guys are
*show how street walking eludes to possible bad boy-ness (but not really not because they don't really get into any fights and aren't chain smoking)
*show how cutting edge and new sound but nostalgic old sound they are
Also all of this talk-singing. Singing but trying to look like they are talking. This seems like more of a belty song. You can't pretend you are just saying this song.
The video is missing something. Then I read a small snippet about them in V Magazine and I got it. They're from LA, but are trying to be hipster Brooklyn Williamsburg, except they are walking around Manhattan and Central Park. No wonder its confusing!
PS The lyrics on screen are cool and the black and white definitely saves it from going completely downhill.
PPS I do like this song and have it on repeat repeat repeat! Don't get me wrong, they're close. Next video guys.
